Christmas Message December 2019:
Hello ACIM Enthusiasts,
Merry Christmas to all.
Per the Course: You are the light of the world and connected to Eternity via the Great Ray. However the Great Ray cannot be known until your inner light is released. One of the ways your inner light can be released is by practicing Jesus’s type of true forgiveness where we look past or look beyond the body to the immortal spirit each person is. As we think of another person is how we will think of ourselves. Because I have been practicing ACIM type of forgiveness on what shows up in front of my face for several years, in March of this year my inner light was released so that I could experience the Great Rays coming in and going out of my mind to purify it of thoughts of separation from God. This purification continues to this day. Hopefully you might consider attending some of my ACIM group meetings to reaffirm your determination to awaken from the dream of separation from God by practicing truths in A Course in Miracles. Thank you Holy Spirit for allowing me to get a photo of my light while I was on a trip Dec 5 to LA to attend a Gary Renard Christmas Workshop. Attached is one of the photos. C-ep.2. “You are a stranger here. But you belong to Him Who loves you as He loves Himself. Ask but my help to roll the stone away, and it is done according to His Will. We have begun the journey. Long ago the end was written in the stars and set into the Heavens with a shining Ray that held it safe within eternity and through all time as well. And holds it still; unchanged, unchanging and unchangeable.”
T-15.XI.2. “The sign of Christmas is a star, a light in darkness. See it not outside yourself, but shining in the Heaven within.”
T-5.II.10.3 You are the light of the world with me. Rest does not come from sleeping but from waking. The Holy Spirit is the Call to awaken and be glad. The world is very tired, because it is the idea of weariness. Our task is the joyous one of waking it to the Call for God. Everyone will answer the Call of the Holy Spirit, or the Sonship cannot be as One. What better vocation could there be for any part of the Kingdom than to restore it to the perfect integration that can make it whole? Hear only this through the Holy Spirit within you, and teach your brothers to listen as I am teaching you.”
T-2.III.1. The Atonement can only be accepted within you by releasing the inner light.
T-16.VI.6. The little spark holds the Great Rays in it.
T-10.IV.8. In many only the spark remains, for the Great Rays are obscured. Yet God has kept the spark alive so that the Rays can never be completely forgotten. If you but see the little spark you will learn of the greater light, for the Rays are there unseen. Perceiving the spark will heal, but knowing the light will create. Yet in the returning the little light must be acknowledged first, for the separation was a descent from magnitude to littleness.
T-18.III.8.6. “You have found your brother, and you will light each other’s way. And from this light will the Great Rays extend back into darkness and forward unto God, to shine away the past and so make room for His eternal Presence, in which everything is radiant in the light.”
This info is for Unity of Merritt Island Group: Due to the holidays our ACIM Merritt Island group will not meet Wed 12/25 or Wed 1/1. Due to the church moving we will also NOT MEET WED Jan 8 because the building will be empty. The Unity of Merritt Island Church is in the process of selling the building and moving. They are not sure if the new location will have a classroom or not. As a result it will be a few days before the decision is made as to where they are moving. As soon as I know whether our group will continue to meet after January 8 at the new Unity of Merritt Island location or not – I will send out an email.

Three Major Ways to undo false egoic thought system
This Course is concerned with the Atonement which is correction of perception – means is forgiveness
First Way To Undo false ego: Put Holy Spirit in charge of your day.
(Before getting out of bed, put Holy Spirit in charge of your day. Tell him you be the boss, guide me what to do and what to say.) C.6.2. “The Holy Spirit is described throughout the course as giving us the answer to the separation and bringing the plan of the Atonement to us, establishing our particular part in it and showing us exactly what it is.” T-8.IX.I Healing as Corrected Perception: “I said before that the Holy Spirit is the Answer. He is the Answer to everything, because He knows what the answer to everything is.”
Second Way – say Lord’s Prayer (invocation) & practice 5 minute Meditation/Prayer from ACIM
Lord’s Prayer: T-16.VII.12. “Forgive us our illusions, Father, and help us to accept our true relationship with You, in which there are no illusions, and where none can ever enter. Our holiness is Yours. What can there be in us that needs forgiveness when Yours is perfect? The sleep of forgetfulness is only the unwillingness to remember Your forgiveness and Your Love. Let us not wander into temptation (think you are a body), for the temptation of the Son of God is not Your Will. And let us receive only what You have given, and accept but this into the minds which You created and which You love. Amen.”
Five Minute Meditation/Prayer in the Am & Pm – experience awareness of Perfect Oneness
(True Prayer is silence, quiet melting into the Great Ray/Source/God Mind.)
T-21.I.8. “Beyond the body, beyond the sun and stars, past everything you see and yet somehow familiar, is an arc of golden light that stretches as you look into a great and shining circle. And all the circle fills with light before your eyes. The edges of the circle disappear, and what is in it is no longer contained at all. The light expands and covers everything, extending to infinity forever shining and with no break or limit anywhere. Within it everything is joined in perfect continuity. Nor is it possible to imagine that anything could be outside, for there is nowhere that this light is not. This is the vision of the Son of God, whom you know well. Here is the sight of him who knows his Father. Here is the memory of what you are; a part of this, with all of it within, and joined to all as surely as all is joined in you. Accept the vision that can show you this, and not the body. You know the ancient song, and know it well. Nothing will ever be as dear to you as is this ancient hymn of love the Son of God sings to his Father still.”
Third Way: Practice True or Advanced Forgiveness NOT the forgiveness of the world that pardons sins & makes them real (look past or look beyond the body to the invisible immortal spirt that is there & say the statements listed below even though you do not believe it, say them…fake it until you make it). Clarification of Terms intro C-in.1. “This is not a course in philosophical speculation, nor is it concerned with precise terminology. It is concerned only with Atonement, or the correction of perception. The means of the Atonement is forgiveness.
Practice true forgiveness or advanced forgiveness on everything – which is looking past/beyond the body to the invisible eternal, immortal spirit that is there and saying these statements. Jesus says in lesson 122 forgiveness is the Answer! with him putting an exclamation point after the word answer three times.
- Silently say All of It to everything that shows up in front of your face
- Or to every person you meet or think about silently say
- You are spirit
- Whole, pure and innocent.
- All is forgiven and released.
- When you see your form in a mirror or look and see your hands/arms, etc. say to yourself:
- I am immortal spirit
- This body is a false image and has nothing to do with what I am.
T-25.V.4.5. “Forgiven by you, your savior offers you salvation.” T-8.III.4. When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself. Whenever two Sons of God meet, they are given another chance at salvation. Do not leave anyone without giving salvation to him and receiving it yourself.”
T-21.II.2. The Responsibility for Sight: This is the only thing that you need do for vision, happiness, release from pain and the complete escape from sin, all to be given you. Say only this, but mean it with no reservations, for here the power of salvation lies:
- I am responsible for what I see.
- I choose the feelings I experience, and I decide upon the goal I would achieve.
- And everything that seems to happen to me I ask for, and receive as I have asked.
T-31.VI.1. Recognizing the Spirit: “You see the flesh or recognize the spirit. There is no compromise between the two. If one is real the other must be false, for what is real denies its opposite. There is no choice in vision but this one. What you decide in this determines all you see and think is real and hold as true. On this one choice does all your world depend, for here have you established what you are, as flesh or spirit in your own belief….Salvation is undoing…. Salvation does not ask that you behold the spirit and perceive the body not. It merely asks that this should be your choice.”
